INDONESIAN bike websites are speculating that Yamaha's MT-25 will be officially unveiled on June 6 based on this teaser video which was published today.
The MT-25 is a naked version of the fully-faired YZF-R25. Just as that became the 321cc R3 for Europe, so the MT-25 is likely to become an MT-03 before it reaches us.
We've already shown you a leaked picture of the MT-25. A Yamaha Indonesia source has since effectively confirmed the picture's authenticity by asking us to remove the 'confidential' image.
Titled #Nakedvolution, the new teaser video was posted on Yamaha's Indonesian YouTube channel and invites riders to a 'biker street night party' on June 6, featuring rappers, DJs, parkour and night paintball.
Indonesian site Tmcblog.com thinks the MT-25 unveiling could be part of the celebrations, as do YouTube users who've commented under the video.
