Suzuki announces GSX-1000 and GSX-S1000FA Yoshimura specials

Special edition GSX-S1000s get a Yoshi’ R11 exhaust plus Yoshimura accessories and new graphics

SUZUKI has just announced Yoshimura special editions of the GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000FA, which will be available from Suzuki dealers from March.

The non-ABS GSX-S1000 Yoshimura edition will cost £9,799, with the ABS bike costing £10,299. The GSX-S1000FA will be priced at £10,699. Each Yoshimura special costs an additional £700 over the standard model.

So what do you get for the extra outlay? Both bikes are adorned with a host of Yoshi’ parts and graphics, the centrepiece of which is undoubtedly a Yoshimura R11 exhaust, but they also feature a Yoshimura steering stem nut, timing plug, oil filler cap and bar ends.

If that’s not enough to tempt you, the bikes also include rim tape, a tank pad, fuel cap trim, paddock stand bobbins, matte black lever, heel plate trim and a graphics kit to make each bike a little more eye-catching than the standard model.

Both bikes also make do without the pillion footrests, and the pillion seat has also been ditched in favour of a cowl.
