Royal Enfield new 350 Classic model and Limited Edition 650s

Royal Enfield has pulled the covers off some new metal at EICMA in the form of a new 350 Classic, two new limited editions and a concept!

Royal Enfield reveal new models at EICMA 2021

THE Royal Enfield stand at EICMA was a busy place on Tuesday morning, as the Indian giant pulled the wraps off some new metal live on the exhibition hall floor.

Royal Enfield 350 Classic

The most retro of all the motorcycle makers is sticking to what it knows with the first bike, as the Royal Enfield 350 Classic looks to plug the gap left in the range by the 500cc Classic and Bullet models.

Royal Enfield was keen to point out that this is not just a Meteor 350, with the firm at the UK and Chennai design centres shifting the rider to a more upright position. With that the bike gains new wheels, suspension, fuel tank, seat, body panels, instruments, and exhaust. Joining the bike are three new themes covering two classic styles and a more contemporary choice of either matt grey or black.

Royal Enfield 120 Anniversary Interceptor and Continental GT

To celebrate the milestone of being in continuous operation for 120 years, Royal Enfield also revealed two special editions in the form of the Continental GT and Interceptor 650 120 Anniversary models.

The bikes feature special paint and finishes over standard model, including hand cast badging made in a foundry down the road from the Chennai factory.

Pricing and availability of these two bikes is TBC.

Royal Enfield 650 SG Concept

The final bike to get an airing was the 650 SG Concept, a bike I’m taking with a large helping of salt, as if it ever does make it into production, I doubt it’ll look like this.

Royal Enfield told us this was a bit of free time for the design team to see what they could do, and it’s a glimpse into a near future that could exist.

But then again it might not.
