Honda has announced for next year a new visual update for the 2023 CRF300L, its well-established entry-level dual sport motorcycle.

Honda has announced a visual update for the 2023 CRF300L, which amounts to a new paint job.

Honda’s off-road and dual sport ranges are among the strongest, with headliners like the CRF1100L Africa Twin and new additions like the XL750 Transalp.

Further towards the entry level side of things is the CRF300L, which has been mostly unchanged since a 4kg weight reduction 10 years ago. It longevity confirms its establishment, and that is not necessarily a bad thing.

With a strong off-road competition background from Honda behind it - including Motocross World Championship titles for Tim Gajser in 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, and 2022; AMA Pro Motocross titles for Jett Lawrence in 2021 and 2022, as well as a 250SX East title in 2022; AMA national race wins in supercross and motocross for Ken Roczen since 2017, and for Chase Sexton since 2019; and British Motocross titles for Tommy Searle, including in 2022 - the CRF300L is a dual sport motorcycle built on a strong base derived from competition.

For 2023, the “Extreme Red” colour scheme, which points obviously to Honda’s racing programme and the aforementioned race winners and champions it has produced even in just the last five years, remains, but is joined by a new option.

The 2023 Honda CRF300L will also be available in a new “Swift Grey” colour which features orange highlights along the side plastics.

Aside from the new colour, the 2023 Honda CRF300L will be the same, well-established machine we have become accustomed with.
