Honda NM4 Vultus goes on sale

Futuristic cruiser arrives in UK dealers priced at £9,699

HONDA’S comic book-esque NM4 Vultus has arrived in UK dealers priced at £9,699 on-the-road.

The Japanase manga-inspired cruiser, using the 745cc parallel-twin engine from the NC750 range, went on sale quietly in July with no announcement from Honda.

Like the NC750s, it makes 54hp with 50lbft of torque.

It comes as standard with Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission system - an option on the NC750s - including semi and fully automatic modes.

It’s also got ABS and a flip-up pillion seat that doubles as the rider’s backrest.

The price makes it the most expensive machine to use the NC750 engine after the Integra maxi scooter, which is £1,900 cheaper.

The NM4 has been added to the custom range on Honda’s website, where the description says: ‘The NM4 Vultus, with its LED lights, future-shock style and stealth bomber silhouette presents a look that will not have been seen in any cityscape this side of an anime movie.’
