It’s a new initiative that will give fans an opportunity to get closer to the action while testing their skills. The prizes will include VIP tickets courtesy of the Pata Prometeon Yamaha World Superbike team. If that’s not enough of a draw, tickets to take part in the challenge are free.
The bike they will be riding on the simulator will be a Superbike, bringing them as close to the feel of British Superbikes as possible. Motorcycle Live will take place between 16-24 November and attendees on the 17th will get the chance to see some BSB riders also take part in the challenge.
Speaking about the new BSB sim ride challenge, MCL24 presenter James Whitham said: “I’m really looking forward to seeing the new race simulator. They’re the real deal, used by some of the top-level pros for training. I might even get on there myself to see how I measure up and see if some of the old magic is still there!”
New models from various brands will be available to see for the first time, as is the case for a collection of classic bikes and one-off custom motorcycles.
Along with the sim ride challenge, the recently-announced Festival Zone will be situated in Hall 4, featuring freestyle MX stunts, Moto Trials and a diverse range of street food vendors will be providing food and drinks. And that’s not all, the ‘Expert Lab’, fronted by TV personality Grace Webb, will host a packed schedule of engaging, informative and entertaining sessions so that attendees can walk away with a unique experience.
Tickets for the event are now live.
