Morbidelli reveals new T502XR adventure bike

Motorcycle maker Morbidelli could be about to rival the likes of Voge and QJMotor with its new T502XR adventure bike.

Morbidelli’s adventure range continues to grow, with the Chinese-owned company revealing its all-new T502XR at EICMA.

The new T502XR is set to land in Italy and Spain in the first half of 2026, before arriving in the rest of Europe and other global markets soon after.

The T502XR makes use of a 486cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that delivers 46.3bhp at 8,500rpm and 33.1 Ib-ft of torque at 6,750rpm. The power unit is paired to a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, while the bike’s curb weight comes in at 198kg.

The new model is “geared towards enduro and limitless adventure, designed for a 50 per cent on-road, 50 per cent off-road balance”, says Morbidelli. However, its 21-inch front, 18-inch rear combination would suggest it’s favouring off-road riding slightly more. The tubeless spoked wheels are shod with deep-tread CST tyres for maximum traction on dirt.

Suspension sees 41mm upside-down telescopic forks provide 200mm of travel, which is 20mm more than the T502X. At the rear is a Pro-link mono-shock with 69mm of travel. Ground clearance increases to 230mm, while the seat height is set at 860mm, which is also taller than the T502X (830mm).

Braking is handled by J.Juan with a 320mm floating disc gripped by four-piston calipers at the front. The rear gets a 240mm single disc that’s paired with a single-piston J.Juan caliper. The T502XR also gets Bosch ABS which can be deactivated at the rear, or in full.

A 7-inch TFT screen provides access to connectivity and navigation systems, while the bike comes standard with heated grips and a heated seat.

The T502XR also introduces an Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), and features a total of four riding modes (Standard, Rainy, Sport, Off-Road). Off-Road mode “optimises power delivery for slippery surfaces and allows specific management of rider aids”, according to Morbidelli.

Morbidelli’s new T502XR is likely to arrive as a direct competitor to the likes of Voge and its DS525X and QJMotor’s SRT 600 S.
