KTM has confirmed a new member to its leadership team, with long-time BMW employee Stephan Reiff joining the Austrian company.

Reiff joins KTM as its new Chief Commercial Officer, where he will be responsible for managing Sales, Marketing, Brand Strategy, Dealer Network and Aftersales. Reiff has over 25 years of experience in the industrial and automotive sectors, and since 2022 he’s been the Vice President of Customer, Brand & Sales operations at BMW Motorrad.

Reiff helped BMW Motorrad achieve revenues of over €3 billion (around £2.6 billion) during his first year in the role.

Prior to his most recent role with BMW Motorrad, Reiff held several key positions within the BMW Group, including Vice President of its product strategy department.

KTM’s decision to appoint Reiff as the new CCO means he will work closely with the brand’s CEO Gottfried Neumeister, who was recently re-signed to his current role. Reiff will assume his new position on April 1.

Gottfried Neumeister, CEO of KTM AG, said this about Reiff joining the company:

“With Stephan Reiff, we are gaining an exceptionally experienced and strategically strong leader for Sales and Marketing. His international expertise, deep industry knowledge, and proven track record in the premium motorcycle segment will significantly strengthen our position. By appointing Stephan Reiff, KTM AG is consistently pursuing its strategic realignment – with a clear focus on stability, international competitiveness, and sustainable growth.”

Reiff’s arrival will take KTM’s executive board to three members, after Petra Preining joined KTM AG as its new Chief Financial Officer on September 16, 2025.
