If you were at Motorcycle Live this year and thought it looked rather busy, it probably won’t surprise you that the event attracted some 90,000 visitors to Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre. This “equalled the success of 2022,” the organisers have said, with “curious newcomers, industry professionals, and passionate enthusiasts, solidifying its status as the go-to destination for motorcycle aficionados.”
As usual, the show hosted big OEM stands featuring all the latest metal, perhaps most notably via BMW, with the manufacturer using a sizeable footprint in the NEC to showcase models including the new R12 NineT range. There were also test ride opportunities for punters and plenty of chances for visitors to spend their hard-earned cash, be it on gear (often at a bit of a discount) or by signing up for some amazing riding experiences for next year.
Whether you had a good time at MCL, a not-so-good time or something in between, the organisers want to hear from you, via a short survey which has just gone live.
Speaking about Motorcycle Live, Motorcycle Industry Association commercial director Finlay McAllan, said: “The enthusiasm and passion of the motorcycle community have made Motorcycle Live a true celebration of the culture, innovation, and camaraderie that define our industry. We are thrilled to see manufacturers, riders, and enthusiasts come together and share their love for motorcycles.”
Tickets for next year’s Motorcycle Live are already on sale for anyone especially organised. It’ll take place from 16-24 November 2024, and as ever, it’ll be at the NEC.
