Indian Motorcycle offers contributions, finance on several models

Want to ride a unique American cruiser for less than the average council tax bill? Indian Motorcycle is here for you.

It’s that time of year: manufacturers are keen to shift bikes and those who have managed to stay patient through the best riding months can now cash in with deals and discounts.

Cue Indian Motorcycle’s “Iconic Advantage” campaign, which is offering attractive PCP deals and so-called “purchase contributions” on the Scout, Scout Sixty, and Chief platforms. You can also take that contribution in the form of parts, accessories, or riding gear. Your opinion may differ here, but we think some of the branded stuff looks pretty good.

But with the contribution, you could be riding around on a bike from “America’s first motorcycle company” for as little as £125 a month.

(Albeit with the drawbacks inherent in any PCP financing deal, ie, the bike isn’t actually yours)

The most affordable deals are to be found with the Scout and Scout Sixty families, which offer 5.9-percent APR personal contract purchase financing and a £750 contribution from Indian. Put those two things together with a £2,155.31 deposit, and you could be rolling around town on an 84 bhp Scout Sixty Bobber for £125 a month.

Want the full-fat 105 bhp Scout Bobber, with its recently upgraded 1250cc V-twin engine? Bump your deposit up to £2,300.58 and the same deal will see you riding away for £175 a month.

An Indian media release says the “Iconic Advantage” campaign applies to “new MY23/MY24/MY25 models,” so you may also be able to get a deal on an older, more affordable, but just as good 1133cc Scout model.

Want to go big? The Indian Chief’s excellent 1890cc Thunderstroke 116 V-twin is a cruiser-lover’s delight and pumps out roughly 90 bhp. That’s about the same offered on the bigger-engined Harley-Davidson Street Bob that we spent a few weeks with recently, while offering a slightly different take on American motorcycling.

If you’ve got £3,378.48 to throw down as a deposit, Indian will chip in £1,000 and offer a 6.9-percent PCP deal to get you on an Indian Chief Dark Horse for £235 a month.

Either way, in addition to a bad-ass motorcycle, you’ll also get 12 months of roadside cover, a patch, a pin, and lifetime membership to Indian Motorcycle Riders - formerly Indian Motorcycle Riders Group - which is the brand’s take on the HOG community.

The “dealer-supported rider group [organises] planned rides, events, meetings, and other activities for owners to get together, socialise and share the passion for their motorcycles,” states a media release.

The offers mentioned are open to selected new MY23/MY24/MY25 Scout Sixty, Scout, and Chief models purchased from an authorised Indian Motorcycle dealer before 31 December 2025.
