Watch Honda’s Koraidon Pokemon motorcycle perform its first demo runs
Honda’s Koraidon Pokemon bike is no longer waiting in the wings to show off its potential, after debuting at the Suzuka 8 Hours.

Thousands of spectators got their first glimpse of Honda’s new, and unusual Koraidon Pokemon motorcycle at the Suzuka 8 Hour race earlier this month, after it performed some eye-catching demo runs.
As was the case with Honda’s new CB1000F and SE models, the Japanese powerhouse showed off its new machine at its home race, which it went on to win ahead of rivals Yamaha.
The Pokemon-themed bike, which features self-balancing technology, performed several on-track demo runs which can be seen below thanks to the Car Watch YouTube channel.
Of course, the new bike might not shatter any speed records, or wow us at its overall riding capabilities. However, that’s probably not the intention, either.
This is very much a motorcycle that shows off Honda’s capabilities, whether that be from a design, technical or innovation point of view. Highlighting the latter of those, the machine is capable of standing upright and moving in different directions without needing help.
As you can see in the video above, the Koriadon motorcycle is able to blink as a way of showing expressiveness.
Honda, which says it’s serious about development of the Koraidon motorcycle, also put the bike through wind tunnel testing, which can be seen below.
