The Honda GB350S has started 2026 as it means to go on, as it topped the modern classic motorcycle sales charts for the month of January.

The GB350S was a firm favourite among riders in the UK throughout 2025, starting the year as the best-seller. It topped the sales charts again in February 2025, a trend which lasted until the end of July, according to statistics from the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA).

Honda’s charming GB350S faced stiff competition as the summer wore on, though, with the Triumph Speed 400 taking over top spot in August and September. The new BSA Bantam 350 became the best-seller in October and November, however, the GB350S returned to top spot in December.

Honda began 2026 by selling 79 units of the GB350S across Britain. In fact, that’s more than any other motorcycle across the different categories, including the ever-popular adventure segment, where the BMW R1300 GS Adventure reigned supreme with a total of 60 units sold.

The GB350S was sold in a total of 72 units during the same month in 2025, giving January 2026 an increase of just seven. The second best-selling motorcycle in January 2026 was another Honda, as 75 units of the CB125F were sold.

While Honda dominated the small-capacity charts to start off 2026, there was another big-bodied BMW machine that stood out. The R1300 RT topped the Touring segment with a total of 35 units sold.

The best-selling two-wheeler overall was yet another Honda, with 207 units of the PCX 125 scooter sold to customers.
