‘Mecha Monster’ graphic revealed by HJC
After recently revealing a new Toothless II RPHA 12 helmet, HJC has now dressed its off-road C50 helmet in an equally vibrant and bold design.

It feels like HJC has been as busy as any other company when it comes to unveiling new helmets over the last year or so, a theme that has continued with the new C50 Mecha Beast.
The South Korean company has built a reputation for making some of the flashiest helmets found on the market today, which includes designs featuring characters like Mickey Mouse, Stitch, the Minions, Shadow the Hedgehog, and the Toothless Dragon.
Then there’s HJC’s MotoGP-inspired designs, which have led to multiple Fabio Quartararo editions in recent times, as well as a Brad Binder replica.
But its latest creation, unlike many of the new helmets in recent months, is tailored specifically towards off-road riders.
The C50 Mecha Beast is fully compliant with ECE 22.06 safety standards, and is priced at £129,99. It makes use of HJC’s advanced ACS ventilation system; allows full front-to-back airflow which flushes heat and humidity out of the helmet.

The helmet’s moisture-wicking & quick-drying cheek pads are interchangeable throughout all sizes, according to HJC. It also features a Double D-ring chinstrap, while the mouth vent cover is removable, which should make the cleaning process a lot easier and more time-efficient.
According to HJC, the design language behind the C50 Mecha Beast “embodies power and aggression through horn-like shapes symbolising primal strength, while intricate mechanical details evoke pistons, hydraulic systems, and sharp metallic teeth”.
The Mecha Beast’s arrival means the C50 range now has five different models within it, including the C50 Slide, Mirage, Primal, and solid options.
