Harley-Davidson has renewed its contingency programme for the 2026 US racing season, with an available cash pot of over $600,000 (more than £451,000).

The contingency programme is available to qualifying Harley-Davidson riders competing in the MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship and the Progressive American Flat Track (AFT) series.

Specifically, the riders that will benefit are those competing in the King of the Baggers, Super Hooligan, AFT SuperTwins and AFT Adventure Trackers classes.

One of those riders is Kyle Wyman, who is the reigning King of the Baggers series champion. Wyman rides the Dynojet Factory Road Glide motorcycle, which is powered by a modified Screamin’ Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131 Performance engine.

Privateer teams will also be able to benefit from the cash award scheme, while they can also purchase available racing parts.

Harley-Davidson has confirmed it will offer a $224,500 (around £170,000) contingency cash programme for qualified H-D racers in the King of the Baggers series alone. That includes a contingency payout from first place to tenth, and a $25,000 (converts to around £19,000) championship bonus.

Another one of Harley’s riders that was crowned champion in 2025, this time in the Super Hooligan class in 2025, was James Rispoli.

The contingency programme for qualified racers in that series is $144,200 (roughly £108,500), with the American company again offering a contingency payout from first to tenth. The championship bonus for the Super Hooligan class is set at $20,000 (£15,000).
