Ride on track with Valentino Rossi this April
Join MotoGP royalty on track at Misano with track riding tuition from the man himself, Valentino Rossi
LUCKY punters can win a slot on the coveted Dainese Riding Master sessions with direct tuition from none other than Valentino Rossi.
The event will take place on the 22nd April at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, with the lucky riders on track, able to learn from both Rossi and Yamaha Petronas SRT rider Franco Morbidelli.
The two riders will be on hand to give one-to-one coaching to those on track, helping them to improve their already good track riding skills. And yes, as you may have just picked up the course with the MotoGP tuition is reserved for those already well versed in the art of track riding. It’s designed to help the riders with their cornering speed, braking, acceleration and control of the bike.
The day comprises an introductory theory session, in-depth technical information on the Yamaha YZF-R1M and tyres and two practical sessions, alternating with in-depth information on the best riding techniques.
There will be a charity auction for participation in the VR46 class, with the proceeds going to the Marco Simoncelli 58 Foundation – if you want to ride on track with the greatest, you’d better have some pretty deep pockets. If the Franco Morbidelli experience is £2,299, think how much people will be willing to pay for a ride on track with VR46!
Valentino Rossi’s agenda for the day is:
- Welcome for participants and registration (from 10 to 10.30 a.m.).
- Two 20-minute sessions on the track, alternating with in-depth theory on the main riding techniques, with direct commentary on the videos together with Valentino Rossi.
- Concluding certificates of attendance.
- The course ends at 4.30 p.m.
