South Yorkshire bike cops say goodbye to officer killed in road smash

A CAVALCADE of police motorcyclists led the funeral procession of PC Glen Howe, who died in a road smash last month.

PC Howe's motorcycle helmet rested on the top of his coffin, which was carried into his local church by colleagues, on Tuesday afternoon. Others officers in full uniform lined the path to the church.

PC Howe, aged 48, who served with South Yorkshire Police bike wing, leaves wife Linda and children Donna, 24, and Jason, 20.

He was killed when his bike was in a collision with a bin lorry last month.
