Knievel-style new Batpod toy
Mattel are to release a wind-up Batpod toy based around their best-selling Evel Knievel stunt cycle.

THEY BROUGHT you the Evel Knievel stunt cycle, which went onto become the best-selling toy in history, and now Mattel are about to release a similar style Batpod to commemorate Batman's latest movie 'The Dark Knight'.
The toy, which features a gyroscopic wind-up system as seen in the Evel Knievel stunt cycle, will go on sale later this year. The retail price is yet to be confirmed but sources estimate it will be in the shops for around £50.
Granted the photo's not pin sharp but it was snapped by a Visordown source at a toy show in the USA on his camera phone.
