UPDATED: Keith Flint found dead at 49 years of age

PRODIGY front-man, motorcycle racing team owner and avid motorcyclists, Keith Flint has been found dead at his home in Essex.

The Sun reported earlier today that: ‘[Police were] called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday

"We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

Along with his music career that spanned decades, Flint was an avid track-rider, eventually founding Team Traction Control in 2013.

We sat down with Keith back in 2010 for a chat about bike and being mates with Mick Doohan, read that article here.

In a post on the official Instagram account for his band, The Prodigy, it's claimed Flint took his own life - there has been no further official comment from the Authorities.

Further details are scarce at this time but we'll bring you more information as we have it.

Our thoughts go out to his friends and family at this sad time.
