HARLEY-DAVIDSON has announced the company is to implement a UK price increase, which will take effect on May 1, 2009.
Harley can't confirm exactly how much their products will rise by, saying they will release figures at a later date. Either way, it's unwelcome news, especially considering the downward turn in bike sales over the last few months. The move can do nothing to boost Harley's already dwindling sales.
'We will work hard to ensure that the necessary price increase still leaves Harley-Davidson motorcycles competitive and affordable in the current UK market place,' said Harley-Davidson marketing manager Greg Willis.
