The Final Ride documentary to premiere at Fowlers

The Final Ride film, which documents the recent circumnavigation of the world on a motorcycle by Nick Sanders, is set for a premiere at Fowlers.

The Final Ride, a film produced following the motorcycle-mounted circumnavigation of the world by Nick Sanders which began in 2019, is being premiered at Fowlers on 24 March.

The event in which The Final Ride will be premiered at Fowlers in Bristol - from the location at which the 97-year-old Fowlers has been based since 1982 - will be attended by Nick Sanders himself, who is of course the protagonist of the documentary film, and who will host a Q&A session at the end of the premiere.

Sanders’ circumnavigation was one of innumerable things to be interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. He began his journey in 2019, but, when he arrived in Australia in 2020, the lockdowns began to take effect - those in Australia being infamously strict - and the completion of Sanders’ circumnavigation - in which he rode a Yamaha Tenere 700 - was put on hold.

Finally, Sanders completed his ‘world tour’ in March 2022, but it was not until January of this year that he was able to return to the UK.

As well as the Fowlers date, there will be several more dealer-held premieres of the film, but it will not be releasing on YouTube or other streaming platforms for 12 months.

The film itself runs for 80 minutes, and has been described as “a must-see motorcycle film unlike anything you have ever seen,” according to a Fowlers press release.

For the premiere event, tickets cost £5, food can be included for £15, doors open at 6pm and the screening begins at 7pm.
