Ex-Peter Hickman Isle of Man TT winner heads to auction
This Smiths Racing BMW S1000 RR, which Peter Hickman raced to victory in 2019, is going under the hammer this April.

Raced by Peter Hickman at the 2019 North West 200, Isle of Man TT, and Ulster Grand Prix, this Smiths Racing BMW S1000 RR is going up for auction later this month.
Hickman claimed victory in the North West 200 superstock race, as well as the superstock and superbike races at the TT. During that same 2019 season, Hickman also took the bike to victory at the Ulster Grand Prix, in what was one of his best road racing campaigns.
Hickman’s North West 200 victory marked the second consecutive season in which he won the opening superstock race at the event. The first of those wins was again aboard the Smiths Racing BMW S1000 RR .
At the TT, Hickman’s victories were even more impressive as he would go on to win the RL360 Superstock race by 26.045s from Dean Harrison, who was riding Kawasaki machinery that year.

Now a 14-time TT winner and 31-time podium finisher around the legendary Mountain Course, Hickman went on to win the superbike race on the same day. 10 of Hickman’s 14 TT victories have also been achieved with an average speed of over 130mph.
His race-winning streak at the TT, which restarted in 2022 following the cancellation of the TT in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, was ended in 2025 when he suffered injuries in qualifying that ruled him out of the remainder of the event.
According to the auction listing on the official Bonhams website, the sale of the bike includes a '1st Dunlop' finisher's cap and an Ulster Grand Prix 'Daly's Hyundai Superstock Race 2019 – 1st Place finishers medal'. This iconic Smith’s Racing machine also comes with a folder of 2019 race reports.
This 2019 BMW S1000 RR will go up for auction as part of The Spring Stafford Sale at the International Classic Motorcycle show on April 26.
