Benelli TNT 550 is the brand’s new naked offering

Benelli’s new adventure touring line-up, which was revealed at EICMA in November, will be joined in 2026 by the brand’s all-new TNT 550 naked.  

Benelli, which is currently owned by Chinese giants Qianjang Motorcycle Group (QJMotor), also has the Tornado 550 supersport model sitting within its sports range. And that’s important to reference, as the new Tornado Naked Twin 550 takes after it in some respects. 

The most obvious similarity is the engine, as both machines make use of Benelli’s 554cc twin-cylinder power unit, which produces a claimed 56 hp (55.2bhp) at 8,250rpm and 39.8 Ib-ft of torque at 5,500rpm.

The bike’s steel tube trellis frame keeps with Benelli tradition, while the front suspension features 41mm upside-down forks with rebound, compression and preload adjustment. At the rear is a monoshock that’s adjustable for preload and rebound. 

Braking comes in the form of 320mm semi-floating front discs that are paired with four-piston radial calipers. At the rear is a 260mm disc, while 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels are fitted alongside Pirelli Angel GT II tyres.

Two riding modes are available which are Normal and Sport, and the new TNT 550 also gets Traction control (TCS) as standard. The TCS can be deactivated, as can the model’s standard ABS.

Finally, Benelli’s new middleweight naked gets a 5-inch TFT screen that integrates navigation, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. 

The TNT 550 will be available at some stage in 2026, and there will also be a version for A2-license holders. Further details and information on pricing are yet to be confirmed.
