The Gresini Ducati MotoGP team has shown off its new MotoGP livery in an event in Malaysia.

The livery keeps similar colours to 2025, with the team’s now-traditional blue paired with new black accents which replace last year's silver. Gambling company BK8 stays on as title sponsor for a second season.

Both Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer remain as the rider line-up for 2026 as well, after beginning their partnership last year. Marquez will enter his fourth year with Gresini this season, while for Aldeguer, who wasn't present at the launch afte rbreaking his femur, it will be a second in the top class and a second with the Italian squad that has won at least one grand prix in each season since 2022.

Both riders are out of contract for 2027, though, and the performance of both last year means that both they and their seats are highly desirable for 2027: team will be looking to sign the riders, and the riders looking for 2027 seats will see any opening at Gresini as one to try to walk into, especially with Ducati as the manufacturer even if the MotoGP regulations are changing next year.

“I’m very happy with the new bike and really excited to start a new season with this team," said Alex Marquez.

"This year the presentation in Kuala Lumpur was very special; it’s a different and very important market. We hope it will be a season full of success, and on our side we will put in all the commitment and hard work needed to achieve our goals. We are absolutely ready to challenge ourselves.”

Fermin Aldeguer added: “It is obviously a great disappointment not to be here in Kuala Lumpur for the team presentation.

"We’ve had a small setback and are working tirelessly to return as soon as possible.

"I miss the team and I miss the bike; unfortunately we need to do things properly and recover.

"That is the only goal at the moment: to get back to 100%, and then we will think about getting back on the bike. One step at a time.

"The bike is even more beautiful than last year’s, and there is a strong desire to return”.
