BSB will not have Bennetts as its title sponsor in 2026, after the motorcycle insurance company announced it will depart the position it has had since 2018.

Bennetts first joined BSB as title sponsor back in 2005, but its most recent stint began after it took over from MCE, whose title sponsorship of the championship ran until the end of the 2017 season.

Seven riders have won the BSB title in the eight years of Bennetts’ stint as title sponsor: Leon Haslam, Scott Redding, Josh Brookes, Tarran Mackenzie, Bradley Ray, Tommy Bridewell, and Kyle Ryde. Only Ryde has managed to defend his crown, doing so in 2025.

A statement from Bennetts announcing the end of its time as title sponsor of BSB was posted to social media on 5 January.

The statement reads: “After over a decade of support, Bennetts will not be continuing as title sponsor of the British Superbike Championship in 2026.

“Over hundreds of race weekends, we've proudly delivered thousands of unforgettable customer experiences. We've brought fans closer to the action than ever before, and we're incredibly proud of the memories we've helped create.”

It continues: “Our passion for racing remains as strong as ever. Supporting riders, teams, and events has always been part of our DNA. So don't be surprised if you see us trackside or at an event near you very soon.

“Thank you once again to the incredible MSV team, Racesafe marshals, medics, photographers, broadcasters, and race teams who we have worked with over the years.

“Have a safe and successful season.”

On 6 January, BSB published a statement from Series Director Stuart Higgs confirming that "new commercial partnerships" will be announced soon.

"As we return from the Christmas break," the statement reads, "I would like to start by recognising and thanking Bennetts for their long standing support of the Championship which has come to an end.

"As we enter the landmark 30th anniversary season there will be a new look to the presentation of the Championship with some exciting upscaled and new commercial partnerships which will be revealed over the coming weeks.

"Stay safe in the icy conditions, warm race weekends will be with us soon!"

BSB's 30th anniversary season is due to begin on 2-4 May at Oulton Park.
