Founded back in 1971, Bolton-based CCM Motorcycles, which closed its doors in June 2025, still has brand-new stock that can be purchased in the UK.

But these particular bikes have not gone up for sale where you might have expected them to, with Gateway Auctions instead making them available as part of a UK-based auction.

This comes after the auction house purchased the remaining CCM Motorcycle fleet when the company collapsed last year.

A collection of 10 brand-new CCM motorcycles will be available, although this is not expected to be the final auction involving some of its stock.

According to reports, a final auction could take place sometime next spring, subject to the remaining models clearing the Motorcycle Single Vehicle Approval (MSVA) process, which allows a motorcycle to be registered on the road.

Alongside the 10 motorcycles set to go under the hammer this week, a wide selection of factory-built spare parts, workshop equipment, and even memorabilia, will be available.

The motorcycle collection features everything from CCM bobbers, scramblers, a roadster, flat tracker, and even a CCM Spitfire Moto R.

Bidding can only be done online, however, the Lancashire-based auction house will be hosting a public viewing on Tuesday, October 13.

The auction currently features a total of 1,504 lots, including various banners and signs, paddock stands, seats, fuel tanks, and much more. You can find out more about the lots included on the official Gateway Auctions website, while the auction is set to end on Thursday, October 15.

CCM Motorcycles was founded by motocross rider and engineer Alan Clews, and was in operation for over 50 years.

Prior to its collapse, things seemed to be on the up for the British brand, after it secured a major investment from Pitalia Capital, led by entrepreneur Anil Pitalia. However, extension into international markets, and the launch of a new retro adventure bike called, Project X, both of which were planned, never materialised.
