BMW Motorrad UK launch new premium riding experience at Donington Park

BMW is set to bring a complete line-up of motorcycles to its new premium riding experience called ‘Make Life a Ride Day’, which is scheduled to take place at Donington Park on 16 July. 

As well as access to 15 different models, attendees can book up to two places on the BMW Motorrad road demo experience, which allows riders to choose from models within the GS range, plus the R1300 R, R12 G/S, M1000 XR, and many more. 

Riders can also take part in track sessions via a range of 28 dedicated BMW Motorrad machines that are available through its own Academy, including the F900 R, S1000 R, and S1000 RR.

BMW says the track sessions will allow riders to spend time on circuit in a “less crowded” environment than a conventional track day. The sessions will be led by professional instructors, although the BMW Motorrad Performance Academy track experience will cost £859. Alongside the expert tuition that’s available all day, riders will benefit from advanced helmet communication systems and video analysis.

For riders that are using their own BMW machine on track, the price to attend and take part is reduced to £235. Five track sessions are included in that price, while riders can book a two-to-one instructor-led session for just £65.
