Ducati is set to elevate its Diavel V4 lineup with the introduction of the 2026 Diavel V4 RS, a model that promises to blend the muscular aesthetics of the Diavel with the high-performance capabilities of one of the best V4 engines on the planet. The news comes from Motorcycle.com’s, Dennis Chung, who found the new model nestled away in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s VIN decoder.

A sportier evolution of the Diavel

The Diavel V4 RS is anticipated to feature the Desmosedici Stradale engine from the Panigale V4. In that bike, it delivers approximately 213bhp at 12,750 rpm and 88lb ft of torque at 11,250rpm. While the final spec of the engine used might be toned down a little - as is the case with the Multistrada V4 RS - the new model should still mean a significant upgrade from the standard Diavel V4's 165bhp. The trade-off for this may well be a slight drop in peak torque, with the standard Diavel V4 boasting a chunky 92lb ft of peak twist.

Using the aforementioned Multistrada V4 as a guide, we can also expect the Diavel RS to gain a new exhaust system (possibly Akrapovic), as well as extensive use of carbon fibre in the bodywork and a bespoke and eye-catching paint scheme. Like the Multi’ RS, the Diavel will also likely feature a trademark dry clutch
