Huge bird takes rider out at Philip Island

PHILIP ISLAND is starting to get a bit of a reputation for its avian residents. 

Remember Iannone's headbutt with a seagull at the 2015 Australian MotoGP?

Well it appears the bird curse has struck again, quite literally. 

Two unlucky riders were hit by a pair of huge birds on track recently, sending one cartwheeling off the track, while his friend incredibly manages to stay on his bike.
