You know when someone does something and makes it look supremely easy? Even making you think for a minute ‘hmm, it couldn’t be that hard, could it?’ Well, Pol Tarres is firing on all cylinders on his Yamaha Tenere 700, and it’s pure riding bliss.
As the sequel to his ‘Seeker’ showcase / short film back in July 2020, the Spaniard has hired some heavyweight help in the form of actor Ahikar Azcona, of Money Heist fame, and this second short has a touch more plot to add to the outrageous happenings on screen.
Ever the knight in Tenere armour, Tarres comes flying out to rescue his compatriot, who’s beached his Tenere 700 Rally Pro (and gone a bit delirious by the looks of it).
It’s a dramatic showing by all accounts, but none of it takes away from the truly breathtaking riding on show - in fact, the loose narrative merely serves as a vessel for some fairly far-reaching product placement.
But again, back on track, Tarres absolutely shreds the Tenere 700 - as you’d expect. And to be quite honest, if you’re still here reading my ramblings about it rather than watching it… then fair play to you. The video is down below.
