JD Stunts sets his sights on two more audacious records
JD Stunts is aiming to break two world records in one weekend, one for a wheelie sat on the bars, and another for the top speed riding backwards.

Jonny Davis, AKA JD Stunts, is eyeing up more silverware for his cabinet, as he looks to break two audacious Guinness World Records on the same weekend.
Davis is planning to head to Elvington Airfield with his specially adapted Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, and break his first of two records - pulling a wheelie while sitting on the fuel tank of the bike.
The stunt requires special adaptations for the Ninja, with the first and most obvious change being the removal of the bike’s fairing. The bike’s fuel tank is then altered to allow him to sit securely while travelling at speeds of around 120mph. There’s another issue that needs fixing for this, as when seated on the tank, he won’t be able to reach the rear brake lever, leading to him and his team shifting that up onto the bars with a ‘scooter brake’ type system.
Davis has already been hard at work preparing for this one and has already topped 118mph in unofficial testing. That’s 10mph more than the current record, set by himself, of 108mph.

The second, possibly even more bonkers stunt, is the fastest speed riding a motorcycle while seated backwards. With this feat, Davis plans to top out at more than 159mph, all while gazing back at where he’s just come from. I can’t think of anything I’d like to do on a motorcycle less than this.
And while these stunts sound, and are, totally wild, Davis is no stranger to bagging big records, at high speed on two wheels. Not so long ago, he managed to bag the record for ‘skiing’ behind a motorcycle. For that record, again achieved at Elvington, Davis was dragged on custom-made boots behind a Kawasaki H2 SX at speeds of 159.552mph.
Total legend - good luck, JD!
