And they're not the machines you might expect

PAUL Teutel Senior of “American Chopper” fame is having a clear-out of his bike collection but the machines on offer are a far cry from the overblown customs he's renowned for building.

Instead, they reveal a passion for vintage British machinery. At the moment, three bikes are up on eBay in America; a WW2-era military 1943 BSA M20, a 1957 Ariel T-5 and a 1946 BSA B33.

As probably the cheapest bike ever to see the inside of Orange County Choppers, the BSA M20 has a buy-it-now price of $5000, while the Ariel is $13,000 and the second BSA has no buy-it-now option.

All three bikes have been put on short, three-day auctions, and at the time of writing have garnered little in the way of views or bids.

It looks like there may be more of the Teutel collection on eBay soon; a Norton and sidecar combination that may be another of the machines is also featured on the same YouTube channel as the videos of the other bikes, having been posted at the same time, but there's no eBay ad to be found.
