Valentino Rossi’s VR46 Ducati has become the second MotoGP team to reveal its 2026 livery in a season launch event in Rome.

VR46’s launch comes a day after Pramac Yamaha’s, which unveiled three-time WorldSBK Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu as a MotoGP rider for the first time.

The official Ducati satellite team’s launch did not feature any new riders, on the other hand, with Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio staying on-board the team’s bright yellow Ducatis for 2026, despite VR46 being last of the three Ducati teams on the 2025 grid.

The team scored 13 podiums in 2025 across Sprints and grands prix, with Di Giannantonio performing slightly better and ending the season 31 points ahead of his teammate and compatriot.

This year’s livery marks a fairly different look for the team, with the white of last year replaced by a smattering of black in the middle of the bike along with the fluorescent yellow that is so strongly associated with the team and its owner, Valentino Rossi. The outline of Rossi’s famous #46 also remains on the front fairing, where it first appeared in 2024, which was also the first year of the partnership with Indonesian oil giant Pertamina and specifically its Enduro brand.

VR46’s 2026 season will begin in Sepang in February when the Malaysian circuit hosts the first official test of the year on 3–5 February. A second test will then take place in Buriram, before the Thai Grand Prix kicks off the season-proper on 27 February – 1 March.
