UK third as Indian Motorcycle sales rise across European markets
Indian Motorcycle CEO Mike Kennedy says the company’s Scout platform is driving major European success over rivals Harley-Davidson.

Indian Motorcycle’s Scout platform, according to the company, has been a driving force in helping the brand achieve major European success so far in 2026.
Indian has also revealed where its seen the biggest sales growth compared to 2025, with Romania enjoying a 60.7 per cent increase in sales.
In second place is Poland, with sales growing by 52.6 per cent compared to the same period last year. Third is the UK, which has been responsible for a 39.4 per cent rise in sales vs 2025.
Thanks to the performance of its Scout line-up, Indian also claims to have out-performed “comparable” models from Harley-Davidson and Honda, in the mid-size cruiser segment.

Indian Motorcycle CEO, Mike Kennedy, said:
“We’ve seen increased sales in the majority of markets across Europe, as well as some standout performances in our younger territories such as Romania and Poland, which have significantly outperformed the market. The Indian Scout platform, in particular, continues to be a cornerstone of our lineup and is the market leader in the European mid-size cruiser segment, outselling comparable models from Harley-Davidson and Honda.”
As part of the same press release, Indian Motorcycle also confirmed its appearance at EICMA 2026, saying it will share “our latest model news”, although the American motorcycle maker has kept further details under wraps, at least for now.
The company is also set to provide a business update when the show gets underway in Milan, Italy, on November 3.
Speaking about its plans for next month’s show, Kennedy added:
“As the world’s premier motorcycle exhibition, EICMA has always been an important platform for providing business updates and sharing our latest model news with key international and European markets. Europe continues to be a significant part of our business and, as our first time at EICMA as an independent motorcycle company, I’m really looking forward to this opportunity to reinforce our commitment to international riders.”

Additionally, Indian will also celebrate its 2026 success in the King of the Bagger series, after snatching the title back from Harley-Davidson.
KOTB has seen Indian and Harley-Davidson both win three titles each since becoming a full-time championship in 2021. However, the latter will not be continuing with its factory team or official support next season.
Harley has instead decided to focus on the new Bagger World Cup, which is a support-series to MotoGP.
