The last of its kind, Ducati’s 1299 Panigale R Final Edition is available in a stunning Tricolore paint scheme and will be up for auction on July 20.

The bike is a 2018 model and when produced it was the brand’s most powerful V-twin superbike to arrive. Based on the 1299 Superleggera engine, the Ducati Superquadro power unit produces 209bhp at 11,000rpm and 104.7Ib ft of torque at 9,000rpm.

The 1299 Panigale R Final Edition continues its high-spec appearance with two 330mm semi-floating front brake discs, gripped by radially mounted Brembo Monobloc M50 four-piston callipers, with cornering ABS as standard. At the rear is a 245mm disc which again gets the four-piston Brembo Monobloc M50 treatment and cornering ABS.

Ohlins NIX30 43mm fully adjustable USD forks comprise the bike’s front suspension along with a fully adjustable Ohlins TTX36 unit at the back that includes adjustable linkage.

This particular example, which is being presented by Iconic Auctioneers, has had just one owner and is number 648 out of 1299 limited edition models.

The winning bidder will get the bike in standard form and will get the 1299 Panigale R Final Edition with the optional Akrapovic race exhaust system that’s worth £5,000.

Also included is the original factory exhaust system, original clutch cover, a spare screen, battery charger and paddock stand. The motorcycle has been kept in-house by Iconic Auctioneers for the last year and comes fully UK-registered on a current V5C.
