Spanish MotoGP - Full Qualifying Results

A dream Spanish MotoGP qualifying for the new Petronas Yamaha team sees rookie Quartararo take a shock pole position - as the youngest rider in history - ahead of team-mate Morbidelli!

Lorenzo and Petrucci fell during the session, which saw practice leader Marquez make a two-stop strategy - then a late save with his elbow - on the way to third on the grid.

Rossi and Miller did not advance beyond Qualifying 1, while Iannone is undergoing checks on his left foot after a heavy accident in final practice.

Large parts of the Jerez circuit have been resurfaced since the November test, with Michelin bringing four different front and rear tyre options as a result.

Smith and Bradl are making wild-card appearances this weekend.
