AL JAZEERA news ran a piece on their TV channel saying that a Qatari blogger had been detained.
This is nothing new, it happens all the time. However, Al Jazeera went on to say that the detainment of this blogger may cause a chain reaction of civil unrest in Qatar. Al Jazeera went on to question the opening round of the MotoGP championship at the Losail circuit in Qatar.
Despite Al Jazeera's speculation, it is unlikely that the MotoGP opening round will be affected.
MotoGP has other pressing issues. The start of the MotoGP series appears to be tainted with the troubles that the Jerez circuit is currently facing.
