CURRENT BRITISH XR1200 champion, Jeremy McWilliams, is set to race in the final round of the AMA XR1200 series at Motorsports Park in Alabama, US, on 25/26th September 2010.
In August, McWilliams took the UK 2010 Henderson Harley-Davidson XR1200 series championship title at Cadwell Park, Linconshire, UK. With a total of seven poles and five wins from seven races, McWilliams romped home with a 41-point lead over his rivals.
Speaking on the impending race in Alabama, Williams said: "I have had an awesome season riding my Warr's XR1200 and winning the championship was our goal! For sure I am excited about returning to the AMA paddock and cannot wait to fire up that XR1200 for the final round of the Vance & Hines XR1200 series. Barber Motorsports Park looks like a truly fantastic track."
Other well-known entrants into the AMA XR1200 series this year include custom bike builder, Roland Sands and two top AMA riders: Danny Eslick and Jake Holden.
