Trio of podiums signals intent for Buchan, FS-3 Kawasaki

Danny Buchan and the privateer FS-3 Racing team firmly signalled its intentions to secure a spot in the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship Title Showdown after securing a brace of podiums at Oulton Park.

Buoyed by a run to the top three at the Silverstone opener, Buchan was in similarly impressive form at the Cheshire circuit, twice fighting back from behind to secure a pair of third place finishes.

With the single BSB entry FS-3 Racing team leading the Kawasaki challenge after two rounds, Buchan currently sits third in the overall standings, much to his delight.

“It is great for the FS-3 Racing team to get two podiums,” he said. “After the first race I had great pace but they [Josh Brookes, Tommy Bridewell) raised the pace for race two and I got stuck in the pack. I had to fight my way back, but it wasn’t enough.

“I’m over the moon [with the results]. The start of the year has been great and hopefully we can keep this momentum through the year to the end.”
