54 years 8 monthsYAMAHA’S YZF-R125 arrived in January 2019 but from May onwards this year the bike gets a sporting make-over, in the form of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition.
This exclusive design of the YZF-R125 closely matches the YZR-M1s look of factory riders, Valentino Rossi and Maverick Viñales racing machines. The edgy, styling and the instantly recognizable green Monster Energy claw decal make the bike look every inch the mini supersport race bike.
At the heart of the Yamaha is a 125cc, liquid cooled, 15hp engine, that features a Variable Valve Actuation system (VVA) that optimises the intake valve timing in relation to engine rpm. Yamaha claim the VVA system means the YZF-R125 rider experiences great thrills powered by high torque and strong acceleration from low to mid rpm and solid performance at higher engine speeds.
