WATCH: 2020 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR and Rush 1000 first look | EICMA

Visordown battles the crowds at EICMA to get within touching distance of the stunning new 2020 MV Agusta Brutale 1000RR and Rush 1000 supernaked motorbikes.

Rush 1000

Without a doubt, the year 2020 is the year of the supernaked. And MV Agusta didn’t miss the memo, bringing two stunningly beautiful examples to market.

The Brutale 1000RR is a more ‘affordable’ version of the uber premium Brutale 1000 Seri Oro. I say more affordable, but in reality, it’s just got less carbon fibre… the spec is still very high indeed.

MV has stated the price of the RR, which starts from €29,900 - around €13,000 cheaper than the Serie Oro. The price of the Rush 1000 is still yet to be confirmed.

The original power figure of the Brutale was 211.8hp, one of the most powerful for its time. However, this figure has slightly fallen in RR trim to around 208hp and a mind-bending 116.6Nm of peak torque.

2020 MV Agusta Rush 1000 Details

To add an even more bonkers machine to the Brutale family, MV sculpted the Rush 1000. It shares the same F4 Superbike derived 998cc 208hp engine that's housed in the Brutale 1000, and the same frame. However, design-wise, the two bikes are worlds apart, as the Rush pays homage to the drag strip instead of the race track.

The Rush, besides being covered in carbon fibre panels, has done away with the quad exhaust, opting for a bespoke twin-port SC-Project cat-back system. The overall design on the Rush is somewhat steampunky, finished off nicely with the addition of a rear-wheel dish.

Price? Probably cost you your firstborn child… but with looks this good, it might just be worth it.
