The name’s Bond, James Bond | Triumph Tiger 900 Bond Edition launched

If James Bond was going on a motorcycle adventure, he'd obviously ride the Triumph Tiger 900 Bond Edition!

Tiger 900 Bond Edition

BRITAINS biggest motorcycle manufacturer is celebrating its continued partnership with the James Bond movie franchise today, as the Triumph Tiger 900, Bond Edition is launched.

Based on the phenomenal Tiger 900 Pro, the Bond Edition features a host of distinctive features and add-ons to set the bike apart from the rest of the range.

Limited to just 250 units worldwide, each bike comes individually numbered and is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity to enhance its provenance.

Visually the bike is strikingly different to the current Tiger range, with the Matt Sapphire paint scheme and James Bond spec' gold 007 graphics set the bike apart. A machined billet aluminium handlebar clamp carries each bike’s unique number, while a bespoke start-up screen on the TFT dash and ‘007’ detailing in the seat act as a more subtle reminder of what the bike is.

Along with all of the Tiger 900 Rally Pro and its category-dominating specification, the new limited edition also comes with an additional pair of high-performance Michelin Anakee Wild handbook approved off-road tyres (in addition to the factory fitted Bridgestone Battlax tyres), and a premium Arrow Silencer, which features a lightweight brushed stainless steel body, with a carbon end cap and strap.

Speaking of the collaboration, Lee Morrison, stunt coordinator on No Time To Die, said:

“The Tiger 900 is the most confidence-inspiring bike, it allows you to really push the ride as far as you want, you can take as many liberties as you want; stand up sideways drifting in third gear, slow wheelie it, slide it Supermoto-style.  I honestly think it’s one of the best bikes I’ve ever ridden, it’s fantastic.”

Should a James Bond motorcycle have more gadgets?

If there is anything just a td disappointing about the Tiger 900 Bond Edition it's in the lack of gadgets. We've got no oil-slick deployment, ejector seats, or even fairing-mounted submachine guns. A TFT dash is a great addition on any bike - not much help when you're being chased by a supervillain and all their baddies though!

The new Tiger 900 Bond Edition can be ordered at your local dealer now and is priced at £16,500.
