Limited edition Yoshimura GSX-Rs
America-only GSX-Rs get Yoshi paint and parts
SUZUKI and Yoshimura have revealed a set of limited-edition 2012 GSX-R600s, 750s and 1000s all with a smattering of bolt-on bits and special paint.
At the moment, the bikes are only being sold in America, but in the past Yoshimura versions of various GSX-Rs have been offered in Europe so there's a chance that these machines, or something similar, could make an appearance.
Each of the Yoshimura Limited Edition GSX-Rs is available in either a custom red or blue paint scheme - with the blue bike receiving a corresponding blue frame and the red bike featuring a black chassis.
The bikes also include Yoshimura's R-77 Carbon Fibre slip-ons and a host of aircraft-grade aluminium CNC machined parts, including a tail tidy, engine case covers, chassis protectors amongst others. Each bike will include an individually numbered Limited Edition number plaque.
Although they could be seen as little more than an effort to clear excess stock, which is arguably what any special edition tends to be, that Yoshimura name does add a certain something to the bikes.
Here at Visordown we can't help but think Yoshi could have done a better job, like this GSX-R600 special we spotted at EICMA.
