Kawasaki has revealed its new 2023 model year 125 range aimed at entry-level riders, with both the naked and faired options receiving colour updates for the new model year.

The Kawasaki Z125 and Ninja 125 bikes are the Akashi brand’s answer to the entry-level motorcycle market. Producing around 15 horsepower, these motorcycles are suitable for A1, A2 and B licence holders.

Both bikes are also equipped with ABS, and feature Kawasaki’s Uni-Trak suspension as part of its chassis, which includes a steel tubular frame.

Kawasaki’s Ergo-Fit system is also present on both the Z125 and Ninja 125 - meaning seat height is adjustable and the seat itself can be swapped out based on rider preference - as well as full digital instrumentation.

The main changes to both the Z125 and Ninja 125 for 2023 are found in the colour options.

For the Ninja 125, there is only one option: “Lime Green/Ebony”, and the bike - which features styling inspired by the larger-capacity Kawasaki sports bikes such as the ZX-10R - comes at the cost of £4,599.

On the Z125, two colour options are available: “Pearl Storm Grey”, and “Candy Lime Green/Metallic Spark Black”. The Z125 will retail for £4,299.

Both bikes will be available from November in UK Kawasaki dealers.

The news of the 2023 Z125 and Ninja 125 comes a few months after the Z400 and Ninja 400 bikes for 2023 were revealed, with Euro5 certification and new colour options.

Additionally, new colours are being brought to a number of the naked and neo-retro models out of Akashi, as well as the aforementioned ZX-10R.
