The new 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT flagship will be priced at £11,299 when it goes on sale in the spring, with the Suzuki V-Strom 1050 comes in at £9,999.

Sitting above the existing V-Strom 1000, the two new models are endowed with an updated version of the 1037cc V-Twin engine, which sees a 7 per cent power increase whilst conforming to incoming Euro5 regulations. It generates 107PS to a weight of 247kg and hits 57.65mpg.

Launched at the 2019 EICMA show earlier this month, the 2020 Suzuki V-Strom gains the Japanese firm’s updated design language debuted by the Katana earlier in the year with a more angular front-end and broader stance.

It has also been inspired by Suzuki’s DR-Z and DR Big rally raiders of the 1980s with special colour schemes and custom accessories to reflect this, including a red and white scheme that apes the Marlboro-sponsored original.

With the existing Suzuki V-Strom 1000 reduced to £9,599 with a £1000 saving, both V-Strom 1050 models become the most expensive models in range.

For that, the Suzuki V-Strom 1050XT gets a three-mode traction control system that can be turned off and three selectable engine maps, lean-angle sensitive ABS, hill hold control and cruise control. The XT also gains spoked wheels, hand guards, engine bars and a centre stand as standard.

You can head to the Suzuki Motorcycles website now to discover more about the 2020 Suzuki V-Strom 1050 and configure it to your liking with deliveries taking place early next year.
