The 2025 Paris Design Week set the stage for Royal Enfield’s sub-brand Flying Flea to reveal Paris as the location for its first global store.

Flying Flea, which is expected to reveal its all-new FF-C6 and FF-S6 models in early 2026, heads home in some ways with this announcement, as France was where the original Flying Flea motorcycle was used heavily during World War II. For those that don’t know, the Flying Flea was dropped by parachutes or carried in gliders, and used as a way of relaying messages and signals between airborne and on-land troops when radio communications were unavailable.

The new Paris-based store is also set to open in early 2026, although there’s no news yet on where the electric brand will head next with regards to a second global opening.

Flying Flea revealed the news while also collaborating with the École Duperré design school. During the event, which was held from September 5 to the 7, artists, designers and students all had the chance to express their interpretation of Flying Flea’s philosophy, ‘Live Lightly’.

Mario Alvisi, Chief Growth Officer, Flying Flea and Royal Enfield Electric Vehicles, said:

“Flying Flea has been the platform for creative expression through which we are exploring new and exciting realms. Our collaboration with École Duperré at Paris Design Week is one such example and marks the beginning of our journey in this city. France is where the original Flying Flea motorcycle played a pivotal role during World War II, and today, Paris stands not only as a global epicenter of design and culture but also is one of Europe's most dynamic two wheeler EV markets.

“This beautiful city represents not only our past but also our future. Therefore we are excited to announce the opening of our first company operated flagship store here in Paris, with this being our first step towards cementing our long term commitment to the city and its people."

As part of its plans to reveal both bikes in early 2026, Royal Enfield has been busy testing the new models in India, which recently included a rugged incline test for the FF-C6.
