Indian Motorcycle UK has welcomed a new 6.9 per cent APR finance offer across some of its PowerPlus baggers and tourers, but customers will need to put a hefty deposit down to get started.

The new offer also applies to select models from the American company’s Chief range, but the monthly payments are vastly different, as are the deposit amounts.

The 6.9 per cent APR representative finance offer means the Challenger Dark Horse is available from £365 per month when registered by 30 June, 2026. That’s still a large sum of money for riders to put down every month, although those favouring the Chief Dark Horse would need to pay the smaller sum of £195 a month.

The monthly payments of £365 for the Challenger Dark Horse are calculated based on a deposit of £5,713. The Chief Dark Horse, although cheaper in terms of the deposit, would also cost customers £3,434. The monthly payment examples are also based on a 37-month agreement.

Indian Motorcycle’s PowerPlus family features a total of eight models, including the Chieftain PowerPlus and Challenger baggers. Additionally, the Roadmaster PowerPlus and Pursuit sit within the tourer range.

Each model is powered by the brand’s PowerPlus 112 engine, which is made up of a 1,834cc liquid-cooled V-Twin with overhead cams and four valves per cylinder. It claims to produce 120bhp and a maximum of 134Ib-ft of torque.

On the other hand, the Indian Chief line-up is known for its air-cooled V-twin power unit, which according to the company, “features models that harken back to golden eras in American motorcycling”.

Powering all Indian Chief cruisers is its iconic Thunderstroke 116 (1,890cc) engine, which is the last big, air-cooled V-Twin available. Not as torque rich as the PowerPlus 112 engine, it still produces 115Ib-ft of torque.
