World-famous Imps Motorcycle Display Team cancels all future performances
The Imps Motorcycle Display Team is taking a step back from performing following an internal review, according to a statement released by the team.

The Imps Motorcycle Display Team has been forced to cancel all upcoming performances with immediate effect, as the team claims “several critical areas” need to be addressed.
Over the years Imps has become a hugely popular youth motorcycle display team, and is known for performing various two-wheeled stunts across the UK, and all over the world.
The Imps Motorcycle Display Team has previously performed in Canada and the Middle East, and most recently performed at the Eastbourne Armed Forces Day on Saturday, June 28. The team was then in action one day later at the Berkeley Show, in Gloucestershire, on June 29.
But after an internal review of the company, it has confirmed that all future events have been cancelled.
A statement on the official Imps website said: “After much careful thought and with heavy hearts, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel all further Imps performances, effective immediately.
“We know how deeply this will affect the Imps children, their families, and the many thousands who have supported and been inspired by the team over the decades. Like you, we would love nothing more than to continue without interruption, but we must be honest about the moment we find ourselves in.
“A recent review of the organisation has brought to light several critical areas that need attention before any future activity could even be considered. These are not easy fixes. They require time, care, and thoughtful reflection. To press on regardless would risk compromising the very standards and values that made The Imps what they are.”
The statement goes on to add that it is “committed to doing everything we can to honour the remarkable history of The Imps.”
