Husqvarna has officially updated its Nordon 901 range with an all-new 2025 ‘Expedition’ model, which has undergone several technical developments.

The Nordon 901 sits within Husqvarna’s travel range and is an adventure bike fit for all terrain. However, the new 901 Expedition takes the standard 901 to new heights thanks to various updates, starting with a new Slip Adjuster as part of the Cornering Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) which has ten settings to choose from.

The different settings allow riders of different skill levels to adjust it to their needs. It’s a clever bit of kit as the system works by determining how much the rear wheel can drift when coming out of corners.

Further updates to the Nordon 901 Expedition include new mirrors, a hazard light warning system, and a USB-C charging port. Additionally, the Norden 901 Expedition is equipped with a revised exhaust system to allow its parallel-twin engine to meet EURO 5+ regulations.

A motorcycle that’s very much at home off-road, the Expedition model features a fully adjustable WP XPLOR suspension. Adjustments to the compression, rebound and preload can all be made. That’s in addition to the bike offering 240mm of travel, thus allowing riders to create a customised set-up based on their preferences.

Like the Nordon 901, the Expedition model consists of the same 899cc parallel-twin engine which fires out 105bhp and just shy of 74Ib ft of torque.

Some of the other technical highlights from the new Nordon 901 Expedition include a new colourway for 2025, heated grips and seat, a heavy-duty skid pad and four riding modes which are Street, Rain, Offroad and an Explorer mode.

A Connectivity Unit provides turn-by-turn (TbT) navigation, calls in, calls out, and music selection from the rider’s smartphone which comes as standard on the bike.
