Italy’s Japanese-Bobber style GB350S wins Honda Customs competition
Italy’s ‘Hachimaan’ Honda Customs entry was voted as the best design based on the GB350S.
Italian custom bike house Motocicli Audaci has won the Honda Customs competition for the second time since 2022, but on this occasion he’s produced a Japanese-Bobber style GB350S.
The Motocicli Audaci entry, which previously won the competition with a custom CMX500 Rebel, was arguably the most extreme reinterpretation of the GB350S at this year’s competition.

Painted in a light blue colour scheme, the first thing you will notice is the high handlebar, which gives it the Japanese bobber style. The winning design got over 9,500 votes, with Honda claiming the 2025 competition was its biggest to date.
More than 30,000 votes were made, which is a 19 per cent increase over last year, which itself had increased by 18 per cent compared to 2023. The competition was held between 12 June and 31 August, while 11 custom builds from seven countries were put on show at the Wheels and Waves festival in Biarritz.
Speaking about his 2025 victory, which also makes him the only repeat winner of the competition, Nicola Manca, founder of Motocicli Audaci, said:
“Winning the second time around is a great satisfaction,” said Nicola Manca, founder and head of Motocicli Audaci. “The first time you might win by chance, audacity or other reasons: beginner's luck. But winning the second time around is a confirmation that is always difficult to achieve and never to be taken for granted. It is a seal of approval that makes us realise we are on the right track”.
Entries from Portugal and Germany rounded out the top three, but despite the competition having ended, the Honda Customs page is still available for users to download a wallpaper of their favourite bike for their desktop or mobile.
