Guy Martin ‘Unplanned’ live show confirmed with three UK dates

Guy Martin is taking his unique brand of storytelling on the road this November, with a new live show promising road racing tales, world-record attempts and plenty of unscripted moments.

Guy Martin is taking his occasionally anarchic presentation style on tour, as the brand-new live show ‘Unplanned’ is confirmed with three dates on the calendar.

If you’ve ever seen Martin’s on-screen presentation style, or his famous MotoGP grid interview with a bemused Neil Hodgson, you’ll probably be able to quickly figure out why the show has been titled as it has. Unplanned promises to be “funny, honest, unpredictable and absolutely unmissable”, and packed with stories from his road racing career, record attempts, and global adventures.

The nature of the shows, combined with Guy’s inimitable delivery style, mean that no two nights are likely to be the same, and we expect there to be a fair amount of veering off-topic and script.

Guy Martin ‘Unplanned’ live show confirmed with three UK dates

As it stands, three dates have been confirmed for the show, starting at Warrington Parr Hall on November 1, York Grand Opera House on November 2, and ending at Grimsby Auditorium on November 3. Tickets for the events can be preordered from June 4 on Ticketmaster, or bought directly from the relevant venue on June 5 from 10am onwards. At the time of writing, only the Parr Hall venue has posted ticket prices, which are from £32.50 each (exc.booking fee & restoration levy).

No further dates or venues are planned for the shows, meaning if you live south of the Midlands, you’ll be looking at a fair old schlep up the motorway and back - or an overnighter in a hotel.

Either way, a chance to see Guy without a script trying his best to stay on-topic sounds like a must-see to us!
